Consulting Process

  • Fill out an online QUESTIONNAIRE
  • A consultant will contact you with an appointment time(s). All meetings will take place in the consultant's office on the 4th floor of McCarty Hall C unless otherwise specified.
  • Graduate students, your advisor should plan to attend the initial consultation.
  •    Be prepared for the meeting and bring with you:

  • Depending on the complexity of the problem and current workload, the consultant will give you an estimated timeframe for your solution. *
  • If a deadline must be met it is the responsibility of the researcher to provide ample time for statistical consulting. Please inform the consultant of any deadlines.
  • *When analyzing data, we try to provide complete, accurate results within a reasonable period of time. Often, though, results can be delayed by unanticipated problems with the data, availability of computer resources, and seasonally heavy workloads. For large or unusual datasets, extra time may be needed to research a solution, manipulate the data, and compute the results.
