IFAS Statistical Consulting Unit

The IFAS Statistical Consulting Unit is a division of the Department of Statistics. The unit provides statistical consulting to faculty, staff, and graduate students within all IFAS departments. Members of the department also participate in statistical research and education. Noncredit short courses on various statistical topics, including analysis of variance and SAS programming, are offered periodically.

Statisticians are professional scientists, and our contributions to research should not be overlooked. If a statistician has been involved with a study from its inception or was instrumental in obtaining or interpreting the results, then he or she will typically be given the opportunity to be listed as a co-author. For smaller tasks, such as providing graphs, stated acknowledgement of our assistance is appreciated.

Please contact us if you have any questions about our consulting services or if you would like to schedule an appointment with a consultant. We want to provide the best possible consulting and collaborative environment for IFAS researchers.
