Introduction to SAS Workshop

Course Description

The course focus will be on the fundamentals of using SAS such as: understanding the SAS interface, inputting data into SAS, manipulating data, computing summary statistics, and basic graphing techniques. 

Who should come?

This workshop is targeted toward those who have never used SAS or are beginning SAS users.  After the workshop attendees should feel comfortable using SAS and the performing the actions listed above.   Attendees should bring a laptop with SAS installed for use during the workshop. 

The Instructor

Meghan Brennan is currently the Coordinator for the Statistical Consulting unit in IFAS Statistics.

Registration

Enrollment is restricted to the first 20 registrants. The course registration is $100 and may be completed by contacting Juanita Williams by email at jcwill@ufl.edu or phone at 352.392.1946.

Date and Location

The workshop will be held on the evenings of April 29th and 30th from 5 - 8:30PM.  The workshops are held on the 4th floor of McCarty Hall C in room 426.
